Who We Are

Eric & Carol Hanson
Eric and Carol Hanson  have been involved in short-term missions since 1995. Shortly after their first mission trip to Nigeria, they joined Missions International (www.missions.com) in Nashville, Tennessee, where they began learning how to train, deploy, and lead short-term mission teams. Privileged to work with many evangelical churches, they have taken countless teams to over 30 countries – ministering through street evangelism, church planting, leadership training, children’s ministry, worship conferences, orphanage ministry, construction, and medical clinics.

Currently, Eric serves as the Outreach Team Captain & International Impact Director for Christ Community Church, a 6,000 member, multi-site church in the Chicago suburbs (www.ccclife.org). His ministry mobilizes 25–30 short-term mission teams annually, traveling to five continents, working alongside indigenous ministry partners. Thousands of people around the world have been impacted through this ministry under his direction.

In addition, Carol’s background in training and curriculum development lends a professional level of expertise to Mission Launch. You can find them speaking at national and regional short-term missions conferences or consulting with churches about partnerships and short-term missions development.

Eric and Carol have a passion for the nations and a desire to see team members discipled…as they go to make disciples. They reside outside the Chicago area, where they are raising their two children.
